There is no catch. Once it is confirmed that you are a real business in the Mobile Bay area, you can have a really nice looking website for free.
What’s the difference between a blog and a website?
Nothing, in this case. This service will provide you with a free business website with blogging capabilities. Your website address will be http://mobile251.com/whatever_you_choose_here.
Can I put anything I want on the website?
Well, yes and no. Any information* that helps you strengthen the bond with your customers is welcome on Mobile251.com. You can upload pictures, embed YouTube videos and other website widgets, and write to your heart’s content.
Each account starts with 10MB of free space, so we do not provide a way to upload large mp3 or video files, as this would take up all or a large percentage of your available space. However, we will be happy to teach you some great marketing techniques by which those large files are hosted on another site (e.g. YouTube, Flickr) and presented on your Mobile251.com site in a way that doubly benefits you by increasing your presence on the web.

Are there any charges at all?
On the free blogs there are advertisements which we try to place aesthetically within the theme templates. Once you have created your blog, if you would like remove these ads automagically, there is an easy way to purchase credits that cost $8.99 month.
Do you provide help and support?
Yes. Within your administrative “dashboard” area inside of your account there is a “Support” link that will take you to some more helpful Frequently Asked Questions, a full Getting Started document and some training videos. There is also a Support ticket form you can fill out that gets sent directly to us to answer all of your questions.
